Agenda Values Recognition Award Winner Announced

Agenda prides itself on its friendly and professional approach and its focus customer care. In 2009 a new Agenda Values Recognition Programme was developed for all staff. Nominations could be made by colleagues or customers based on the individual showing a great example of “living” the Agenda Values below:

• Development: Be Innovative in Developing Our People and Our Business
• Added Value: Quality Focused, Go the Extra Miles, Offer a Responsive and Efficient service

Agenda already had a defined quality approach and ISO9001 certification but in 2009 this was underpinned by an externally provided quality management programme, a customer care training process and the launch of the Agenda Values Recognition Programme. During the year there were 29 nominations leading to monthly awards being given to 15 staff who demonstrated “living” one or more of the Agenda Values. In some months more than one award winner was selected by the management team due to the high quality of nominations. All parts of the Agenda business were represented during the year and award winners were presented with their awards at monthly staff meetings. The overall winner for the year had won two monthly awards and pipped some other excellent candidates for the annual award through a consistently high customer focus, a real can do attitude and a “nothing is too much trouble” friendly approach to both internal and external customers.

The inaugural winner of the Agenda Values Recognition Programme Award is Sue M who is a Security Analyst working in the Security Screening department who received warm praise from both her peers and a number of customers. Sue wins a cash award and an additional day off in 2010. Norman Mortell, the Director responsible for the Security Division said “Sue thoroughly deserves this award and I am extremely pleased that the fist winner is from our security team, Sue’s consistent effort to delight our clients is one of many initiatives to ensure that the client is at the centre of everything that we do, well done Sue.” He went on the say “We are very excited about 2010, we will be investing in many new and innovative systems but we recognise that our most important asset is our staff.”
