Guardian Intelligence Gathering, Investigation and Analysis
Guardian automatically gathers the intelligence negating the need for hours of research and resource by company personnel. Search criteria is specific to you and your organisation ensuring that the information gathered is relevant. Intelligence can be gathered on threats to the organisation, animal rights, extremists, competitors and counterfeiters to name but a few. With a wide variety of options the Guardian systems are backed up by ex-police and military investigators to assist in the interpretation of the results as required. All results are validated and weighted with regards to the risk to your organisation enabling you to prioritise your activities and potential responses.

There is a considerable amount of personal data, information, intelligence, unethical and often illegal comment made on the Internet. This information can be found within trade boards, chat forums, blogs, social websites and message rooms, in relation to companies, senior personnel, brand owners and employers. Using an interactive software system called GUARDIAN, we search, monitor, retrieve and report on all online sources available. To assist our clients in finding suspicious and unethical activities we check over a billion web pages in the process.
The software can be used to target specific areas of the internet for client specific investigations. Our software for example has recently:
- analysed specific comments made by “hackers” about a new technical product launch, which enabled our client to delay the launch and add higher security measures to the technology
- found unethical and illegal action comments made by animal activist groups about illegally targeting employees of a research company
- identified sexual and racial comments towards the CEO of a UK listed company

Affiliations Check
This check includes a full Internet mining search (over a billion web pages and chat rooms searched). We also use our own Animal Rights Connections (ARC) database for those clients concerned about animal rights extremism and we also check against the Sanctions database, which is used by the Bank of England to identify terrorist affiliations. This check can be customised to include political affiliations too. This is a useful supplement to current screening processes; this detailed review can also be used as an annual Affiliations Check, particularly for those employing people in sensitive areas of an organisation.
